About the Author

B. L. Planko is a Canadian born novelist and lifelong reader with a love for fantasy literature. She is a mother and wife who has faced much adversity throughout her life, though she still finds a way to love and care deeply. She consistently draws upon resilience and perseverance in both her life and her writing. From an early age, books gave her both comfort and inspiration, sparking a passion for storytelling and imaginative worlds. Her love of fantasy continues to influence her work, alongside her appreciation for strong characters and their bonds, hope, and adventure.

    When she isn’t writing, she can usually be found playing in the dirt with her son, curled up with a good book and coffee, or making a mess of her office space while crafting. She also loves to thrift, garden and spend time on the farm. If you ask her about her books, she will be overjoyed to talk about them, but she will be both excited and nervous, resulting in her fumbling her words. You can laugh because she surely will too.

     Becoming an author always seemed like a dream for her and is an achievement she will always hold dear. If you were to ask her about dreams she would tell you to believe in yourself and take that chance because you will never know until you do.
